Hurricane Harbor, a Six Flags water park, is located in Arlington not too far from Six Flags Over Texas.
Hurricane Harbor is famous for its Lazy River, which was the first "water ride" of its kind. But for patrons who want something a little less lazy and a little more exciting, there is Boogie Beach, where you can body board on Surf Rider.
Hook's Lagoon is a spectacular, three-lagoon area that includes a pirate ship and 150 interactive aquatic features on 12 different levels. Overall, Hurricane Harbor gives visitors the chance to frolic in 3 million gallons of water and on more than 30 water slides and attractions.
Days and hours are seasonal and adult tickets (at the time of this writing) run around $30.
