About the 12th Armored Division Memorial Museum:
The 12th Armored Division of the U.S. Army was one of the most effective - and most feared, by the enemy - fighting units of World War II, living up to the division's nickname: the Hellcats.
The 12th Armored Division Memorial Museum's mission statement is to "serve as a teaching museum for the study of World War II and its impact on the American People."
The museum houses the division's historical collection and also offers academic access to historical material, plus provides educational programs for children.
The 12th Armored Division Memorial Museum is open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. A small admission fee is charged.
